Description:
This October, Group 61, would like to invite you to get involved and join us and caffeine lovers alike to take a ‘Coffee Break’ to raise funds for mental health.
The Coffee Break Project aims to raise awareness and build further acceptance of mental health by challenging members of the community to take on a coffee-free October and get family and friends to sponsor them.
For coffee lovers, it’s going to be a tough month but giving up your soy latte, skinny flat white or long black will foster a new appreciation for something so often taken for granted.
The challenge will be launched by the Minister for Disability Services, Mental Health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Hon Curtis Pitt, on September the 26th at the Main Stage on Queen Street Mall.
We will also be selling delicious 'Coffee Break' cupcakes baked by Cupcake Parlour at Central Station on the morning of the 26th of September.
So come get involved, cut the caffeine and help raise funds for mental health.
